Power up church Core Beliefs
Faith. Power. Purpose.
This is what fuels our mission and drives our community. These core truths are more than theology—they’re the power-ups that equip us for the real-world campaign of following Jesus in a chaotic world. We believe the Bible is true, the Gospel changes everything, and God still moves today.
Bible
We believe the Bible is the ultimate guidebook for life, truth, and spiritual victory.
- The 66 books of the Old and New Testaments are inspired by the Holy Spirit—God-breathed and fully reliable.
- The Bible is our final authority for faith, life, purpose, and practice.
God
We believe in one true God—eternal, all-powerful, and Creator of all.
- He exists in three distinct Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—perfectly united and equal.
- He’s not a distant force but a personal God who invites us into a relationship with Him.
Jesus Christ – Savior. Warrior. King.
Jesus is the main character of redemption’s story—fully God, fully human, and fully victorious.
- He lived without sin, died in our place, rose from the grave, and ascended in power.
- He's not done yet—He’s coming back to finish the fight and restore everything.
The Holy Spirit – The Power Source We Can’t Live Without
The Holy Spirit is God's active presence with us—our counselor, guide, and power-up for everyday life.
- He convicts us of sin, points us to Jesus, and gives us gifts to live out our mission.
- We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit for boldness, supernatural gifts, and Kingdom impact.
Mankind – Created in God’s Image. Glitched by Sin.
Humanity was handcrafted by God to reflect His glory—but sin corrupted the system.
- Every person is made with purpose but born into brokenness.
- We’re not doomed—we’re redeemable through Christ.
Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:1–5
Salvation – Grace > Grind
You can’t earn it. You don’t deserve it. But Jesus paid for it.
- Salvation is a free gift, activated by faith and powered by grace.
- It’s not about leveling up—it’s about surrendering and receiving.
Baptism – Public Respawn into New Life
Baptism is our bold declaration: “I’m all in with Jesus.”
- We believe in full immersion as a visual celebration of death to sin and resurrection in Christ.
- It’s not just a ritual—it’s your spiritual launch day.
Communion – The Sacred Checkpoint
We hit pause to remember the Cross. We power up through unity and worship.
- The bread and cup remind us of Christ’s sacrifice and the victory we share.
- It’s a sacred rhythm of reflection, gratitude, and hope.
The Church – Not a Building. A Global Player Guild.
The Church is God’s squad—called to worship, grow, and go on mission together.
- Every believer is part of Christ’s Body, each with unique gifts and roles.
- Power Up Church is one digital expression of that mission—focused on reaching the online world.
Spiritual Gifts – Equipped to Serve. Empowered to Win.
The Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to every believer—on purpose, for a purpose.
- We believe the gifts of the Spirit (like prophecy, healing, tongues, wisdom, and more) are alive and active.
- These aren’t just flashy skills—they’re tools for building up the Church and reaching the world.
Divine Healing – God Still Heals. Period.
We believe healing—physical, emotional, spiritual—is part of what Jesus died to provide.
- We pray boldly, trust deeply, and celebrate every breakthrough.
- Whether instant or in-process, we know God is always working for our restoration.
The End Times – Not Game Over—New Game+
Jesus is coming back. Not as a humble servant, but as the victorious King.
- We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the final judgment, and the creation of a new heaven and new earth.
- Until then, we live on-mission, with urgency, faith, and hope.
Revelation 21:1–5; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–18; Matthew 24:30–31
